The lion costume from the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz has been sold on eBay for £357,000.
Containing genuine lion fur and worn by actor Bert Lahr in the movie, the outfit had been expected to reach £300,000 in the online auction.
BBC News reported the whereabouts of the other costumes from the film, with the iconic tin man costume believed to be destroyed. Dorothy's blue and white dress, as worn by Judy Garland, sold for £140,000 at a London auction last year, whilst the scarecrow costume resides in Washington DC's National Museum of American History.
