Emma Watson: 'I can't watch Perks of Being a Wallflower kiss scenes'

By
Emma Watson has admitted that she has difficulty watching certain scenes in The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

The actress stars as a kindred spirit and love interest to Logan Lerman's alienated teen, but found her romantic scenes with him hard to watch afterwards.

"It's really funny because when I watch the film back, there are a few things I can't watch," Watson told Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1 this morning. "I can't watch the Rocky Horror dancing scene, and I can't watch the kissing scenes."

"This film really pushed me out of my comfort zone," she continued. "I told the director that I have just come from playing Hermione Granger and you are expecting me to dance and putting me in corsets, and it's difficult."

Watson has previously described her kissing scenes with Lerman as "epic", and explained that she found the film's subject matter relatable.

Writer-director Stephen Chbosky adapted the film from his own 1999 novel of the same name. Ezra Miller, Nina Dobrev and Mae Whitman round out the supporting cast.
