An extended Lincoln TV spot has debuted.
The advert looks back over struggles for equality throughout history.
It then goes on to touch on the public and personal struggles of President Abraham Lincoln (Daniel Day Lewis).
The film focuses on the 16th President's tumultuous final months in office, from the Civil War up until his assassination.
The Steven Spielberg-directed biopic also stars Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones.
Tony Kushner's screenplay was based partially on the book Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
Lincoln will be released in US theatres on November 9, 2012, and in the UK on January 25, 2013.
