Depp is movie site's most searched

Johnny Depp is the most searched for star on one of the internet's biggest movie websites, its figures reveal.

His success in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies have seen more of the The Internet Movie Database's 42 million users search for him than for any other star.

Co-star Keira Knightley comes in at number six and Kate Beckinsale at 14. Meanwhile, stars better known for their off-screen behaviour also made it into the list, such as Paris Hilton at nine.
