Golden Raspberry Awards - to recognise Hollywood's least talented - have been presented to Sharon Stone and Basic Instinct 2.
The annual Razzies ceremony was held yesterday at the Ivar Theatre in Hollywood ahead of tonight's Oscars.
The 750-plus members of the Raspberry Award Foundation voted Basic Instinct 2 Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay and Worst Prequel or Sequel. Stone, the star of the universally-derided movie, took Worst Actress.
Three Razzies, including Worst Remake or Rip-off, went to comedy Little Man. Stars and creators Shawn and Marlon Wayans were given Worst Screen Couple and, jointly, Worst Actor.
M. Night Shyamalan, who made Lady in the Water, was given Worst Director and Worst Supporting Actor for his own role in the same film. Worst Supporting Actress went to Carmen Electra for roles in both Date Movie and Scary Movie 4.
The winners, as is tradition, were given gold-painted raspberrys, said to be worth $4.97.
