Elizabeth Olsen, Josh Brolin, Samuel L Jackson and Sharlto Copley star in the Hollywood version of the movie.

Sinister's James Ransone also joined the cast recently, replacing Nate Parker.

The original told the story of a man kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years, and then given five days to find his captor upon release.

Speaking about the film recently, Olsen said it will not shirk from showing scenes of extreme violence and that it will be "crazy" in "a great way".
