Oscar winner Martin Scorsese is to collaborate with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger on a new rock 'n' roll movie.
Scorsese is to direct The Long Play, the story of two friends that takes place against the backdrop of 40 years in the music industry.
The project is the brainchild of the 'Brown Sugar' hitmaker, who is to co-produce the film.
Scorsese and Jagger collaborated last year on an as-yet-untitled career-spanning documentary on the Rolling Stones.
