Oscar winners Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson have enjoyed continuing success at the 38th NAACP Image Awards.
The pair - who won best actor and best supporting actress last week - got the same honours again at the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People ceremony in Los Angeles.
Whitaker's title comes for playing Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland while Hudson was in Dreamgirls.
Both welcomed the prizes. "There is nothing like being recognised and honoured by your own," commented Hudson. While Whitaker, speaking about his role as the Libyan dictator, said he had been able to "go back to Africa and touch my roots".
Other prizes went to Isaiah Washington, as best actor in a drama for Grey's Anatomy, Keke Palmer as best actress for Akkelah and the Bee and Djimon Hounsou as best supporting actor for Blood Diamond.
Best film went to The Pursuit of Happyness, which stars Will Smith alongside his son.
