The actress may join Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul in the DreamWorks adaptation of Electronic Arts's long-running racing game franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Poots would play a savvy car dealer who supplies high-end racing vehicles to wealthy customers.
Act of Valor helmer Scott Waugh is directing Need for Speed from a script co-written by John and George Gatins.
Paul and Poots will also co-star in next year's Nick Hornby adaptation A Long Way Down, which will soon wrap principal photography following a shoot in London and Spain.
Need for Speed will be released on February 7, 2014.
