Disney is planning to release Star Wars Episode 7 in 2015 after buying Lucasfilm from creator George Lucas for $4.05 billion.
Fisher - who plays the iconic character of Princess Leia in the franchise - has now told TMZ that she would accept a role in the new movie if it was offered.
"Yes, sure," she said. "Wouldn't you?"
Fisher also said that becoming a Disney princess is "fantastic", adding: "It made my day."
However, she suggested that Lucas should have been paid more for the Lucasfilm company, saying that it was worth $4.5bn.
