The political thriller has now earned receipts of almost AU$7 million, and has taken over US$112 million (AU$108.3 million) worldwide.
There are three new entries on this week's chart. Colin Farrell's comedy Seven Psychopaths debuts in second place, while Tyler Perry and Matthew Fox's Alex Cross movie enters the standings in seventh place.
Indie drama The Sessions also just makes it into this week's top ten.
Elsewhere, The Intouchables rises two places to number four in the charts, despite a 17% drop in takings on last weekend.
