Sigourney Weaver has landed the role of a stripper in her next film - being made for American cable network HBO.
The actress will play the role of a burlesque stripper Gypsy Rose Lee in the film entitled Gypsy and Me.
The film is based upon a memoir, My G-String Mother: At Home And Backstage With Gypsy Rose Lee, written by Eric Lee Preminger.
Weaver will also act as the executive producer on the film.
