Variety reports that Jolie is in talks to appear in The Changeling, the story of a woman whose son is abducted but later found.
However, the mother begins to suspect that the child is not her son and is forced to battle corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department.
The Changeling, which is based on true events, is scheduled to go into production later this year.
