Tom Hiddleston would consider 'Star Wars' role

By
Tom Hiddleston has said that he would consider a role in the Disney-produced Star Wars: Episode VII.

The actor worked with Episode VII executive producer Kathleen Kennedy on War Horse, and currently stars as supervillain Loki in Disney's Marvel movie series.

When Digital Spy asked whether he would consider appearing in the upcoming trilogy, given his connection to the powers behind it, Hiddleston replied: "Absolutely, yeah. It would depend on the story and the character and things.

"But I don't know, maybe people would associate me too closely with Loki - I hope not."

He went on to praise Kennedy, whose producing CV includes the Back to the Future series and the majority of Steven Spielberg's films including Schindler's List, Jurassic Park and the upcoming Lincoln.

"[She's] a filmmaker of such extraordinary experience and wisdom - she's one of the best producers I've ever worked for," he explained.

"She just knows her way around the medium and the art form and the industry, so I think I'd take it very seriously if they asked me."
