Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy in new trailer for 'The Heat' - watch

A new trailer for The Heat has been released.

The Heat stars Sandra Bullock as an FBI agent and Melissa McCarthy as a Boston police officer, who team up to take down a Russian mobster.



Directed by Paul Feig, the buddy cop movie also features Saturday Night Live's Taran Killam, Kaitlin Olson, Michael McDonald and Michael Rapaport.

Bullock previously played another FBI agent in 2000's Miss Congeniality, followed by a sequel in 2005 called Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous.

McCarthy is enjoying success after Bridesmaids as she also stars opposite Jason Bateman in Identity Thief - out in February 8, 2013 in the US and March 1, 2013 in the UK.

The Heat will open on April 5, 2013 in the US and UK.
