It was previously confirmed that the first trailer for Star Trek into Darkness will also be attached to The Hobbit, with IMAX screenings of the Lord of the Rings prequel carrying the first nine minutes of the movie.

The Wolverine, which sees Hugh Jackman reprise his role as the iconic anti-hero, will take place after the events of Bryan Singer's X-Men trilogy and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Fox creative consultant and acclaimed comics writer Mark Millar previously hinted that Wolverine will do for the studio what Iron Man did for Marvel Studios, paving the way for shared universe projects.

The Wolverine will be released on July 25, 2013 in the UK, and July 26, 2013 in the US.
