Dwayne Johnson fights for his son's freedom in new 'Snitch' trailer

Snitch has debuted its first trailer.

Dwayne Johnson stars in the tale - based on true events - about a man who goes undercover to bring down drug lords in order to win his son's freedom from prison.



His son is sentenced to ten years for dealing drugs, maintaining his innocence throughout his captivity.

Susan Sarandon features as a merciless US attorney who wants to tackle crime no matter the cost.

Benjamin Bratt and Barry Pepper also feature in the Ric Roman Waugh-directed Summit Entertainment film.

Johnson will also be seen in the upcoming Fast and Furious 6 and Brett Ratner's Hercules.

Snitch will debut in cinemas on February 22.
