A Dark Knight Rises featurette has offered a behind-the-scenes look at the fight between Batman and Bane.
The video - which features as part of the Blu-ray release - includes commentary on the scene by director Christopher Nolan, editor Lee Smith and stars Christian Bale and Tom Hardy.
Nolan describes the battle - which was performed entirely by the two actors themselves - as "remarkable" and "frighteningly real".
Hardy recalls the experience of fighting in the heavy costumes.
Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Marion Cotillard also starred in the film, which was released summer.
The Dark Knight Rises Blu-ray was released yesterday.
