The Animal Kingdom and True Blood stars will join Rachael Taylor in the Australian crime thriller, reports Deadline.

Tony Ayres (The Home Song Stories) will direct the movie from a script written by Blake Ayshford (All Saints).
Based on a true story, the film centres around two ex-cons who killed 15 people in 1973 when they torched the Whiskey Au Go Go nightclub in Brisbane.
Stapleton will play a man who has just been released from prison and convinces his friend (Kwanten) to pull one last heist with him.
Taylor will play the latter's soon-to-be-wife.
Cut Snake will begin shooting in mid-2013.
