The cast and crew of director Peter Jackson's fantasy epic also discuss their love of New Zealand, with Martin Freeman joking about the film's pristine locations.

"Driving from place to place on the south island, you almost get beauty fatigue," Freeman joked.

James Nesbitt – who plays Bofur – described the country as the ideal place to represent Middle-earth on the big screen.

He noted: "It's a totally unimaginable place. I can't imagine this film taking place anywhere else."
