The War Horse star will join Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis in the Wachowskis' sci-fi movie, reports Variety.

The film centres around the idea that Earth is under observation by superior beings from other worlds.
Kunis will play a Russian immigrant cleaning lady who is targeted for assassination because she possesses the same perfect genetics as the immortal Queen of the Universe, her very existence threatening the monarch's rule.
Redmayne is currently starring in Tom Hooper's big-screen adaptation of Les Misérables.
Production on Jupiter Ascending is scheduled for early 2013. Redmayne's role in the movie is yet to be revealed.
