The sequel to X-Men: First Class is due for release on July 18, 2014. Production is slated to begin in early 2013.

Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart are also said to have signed up for Days of Future Past.

However, Stewart recently stated that he has yet to hear anything about the project and has not officially put pen to paper.

Jackman will next be seen in his X-Men role in The Wolverine, which is released on July 25, 2013 in the UK and on July 26, 2013 in the US.
