'Aftershock': Eli Roth's night out goes bad in first trailer - watch

Aftershock has debuted its first trailer.

The Nicolás López-directed horror film stars Eli Roth, who wrote the screenplay with López and Guillermo Amoedo.



The trailer, which debuted on IGN, centres around an American man (Roth) looking for a good time on a holiday in Chile.

He is dancing in a nightclub when a massive earthquake strikes the city.

Escaping from the ruins is not the end of his trials, as outside the streets have been taken over by violent looters.

Roth has also been working on The Green Inferno, a horror film that will debut in 2013.

Selena Gomez will also appear in Aftershock, the release date of which is yet to be confirmed.
