'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' have a 'taste for blood' in trailer

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters has debuted a new trailer.

The trailer introduces the siblings, revealing something of their fairytale past and their transformation into bounty hunters.

After getting "a taste for witch blood" during their original adventure in the gingerbread house, the siblings grow up to become warriors fighting against the forces of supernatural evil.

15 years later, the pair find themselves subject to a plot to end their threat to the witches.

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as the titular pair.

Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Derek Mears and Thomas Mann also feature in the Tommy Wirkola-directed movie.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters will debut on January 25 in the US, and February 22 in the UK.
