Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's film took four prizes at the Italian awards, the organisers have announced.
The movie was named 'Film of the Year', and also received 'Audience Award' and honours for its ensemble cast and Cooper's performance.
Benh Zeitlin's Beasts of the Southern Wild took two awards for 9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis's starring performance and as 'Surprise Film of the Year'.
The awards are considered to be a good indicator of future Oscar success, with last years 'Film of the Year' The Artist going on to receive five Academy Awards.
The Capri, Hollywood Film Festival ran from December 26 to January 2. Cooper will be presented with his award later in January at the Italian premiere of Silver Linings Playbook in Rome.
The film also dominated the Satellite Awards in December.
