Last year's shortlist saw an all male lineup including Chris O'Dowd, Eddie Redmayne, Adam Deacon, Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth, with Deacon being named the eventual winner.

Martha Marcy May Marlene critically-acclaimed actress Olsen, 23, said of her nomination: "Being considered for this award is a huge honour.
"So many actors whom I admire have been recognised in this category and I'm very thankful to BAFTA and the jury for selecting me."

Brighton Rock starlet Andrea Riseborough, 31, added: "BAFTA nurtures new talent throughout the international film community so I am so very grateful to be given this fantastic opportunity."
Atonement actress Temple, 23, attended the nominee announcement wearing a floral dress and sporting flame-coloured hair, held in Central London earlier today (January 7).
The public can vote here until February 8, and the winner will be announced during the annual ceremony on February 10.
