Nicholas Hoult relishing 'X-Men' return in 'Days of Future Past'

Nicholas Hoult has admitted that he is excited about his upcoming role in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The actor will reprise his X-Men: First Class role of Beast and re-team with his Jack the Giant Slayer director Bryan Singer for the superhero sequel.

"[Singer is] fantastic on the X-Men films. He really knows what's going on. And from what I've heard about the script, I think it's going to be a really cool film," he told ScreenCrave.

"I'm looking forward to it. I like that character as well. I don't think we start for another few months."

James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Jason Flemyng are among the other X-Men: First Class stars reprising their roles for the follow-up.

Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman will reportedly revisit their roles from the original X-Men trilogy.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will be released in theatres on July 18, 2014.
