The actor last year suggested that the third movie in the series, which has a provisional release date of May, Men's Journal magazine. "I might do another 'Spider-Man' movie - I don't know."
However, he emphasised that his decision would be based on the strength of the proposed movie, and admitted that his desire to film the third film was due to the development of the title character: "The public is adoring him, and it goes to his head. He's behaving arrogantly and is self-involved, which changes the feeling of the character for me. And it just gets darker from there."
