The Grease duo released a festive compilation LP last year titled This Christmas, featuring covers of Christmas standards and a new track entitled 'I Think You Might Like It'.

The actor stated that he hopes he will continue to work with his friend on further Christmas songs each year, and possibly a festive movie or TV special.

"The thing is, we're going to try to add a couple of songs every year to that CD," Travolta told E! Online.

"And then maybe do a music video each year so, at the end of it all, we'll have a whole [collection]."

When asked if the music could be joined by a new film, he added: "Maybe connected to the Christmas idea…maybe a Christmas movie or maybe a Christmas special or something."

Travolta also revealed that his 12-year-old daughter Ella and 2-year-old son Benjamin enjoy performing music.

"My kids are musically inclined," he said. "Of course, my son is 2 so it hasn't developed yet, but my daughter has lots of interests in musical instruments and she's a good singer."

John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John achieved worldwide fame in 1978 when they starred in the lead roles in the movie adaptation of the musical Grease.
