Lindsay Lohan attacked by James Deen in 'The Canyons' first clip - video

Lindsay Lohan appears in the first clip from The Canyons.

Porn actor James Deen also features in the footage, which sees Lohan's character being attacked by her abusive and jealous boyfriend (Deen).

Penned by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, The Canyons is directed by Paul Schrader, and follows five 20-somethings as they search for "power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood".

A recent New York Times article chronicled the film's troubled production, and highlighted Lohan's erratic behaviour on-set.

An audio clip from the set was recently leaked online, in which Lohan can be heard instructing Deen to "do [his] f**king job".

The Canyons will be released later this year.
