Lionsgate's Judge Dredd movie has soared to the top of the DVD, Blu-ray and digital download charts on its first week on release.
The Karl Urban-starring film sold 650,000 physical units.
"Dredd's chart-topping performance demonstrates the breadth of the home entertainment audience for this exciting, high calibre film as well as underscoring our ability to monetise theatrical titles across all home entertainment platforms through the highest packaged, VOD and digital conversion rates in the industry," said Ron Schwartz, Lionsgate executive vice president and general manager, home entertainment.
"We're also pleased that a film released on 3D Blu-ray was able to top the sales charts, a clear reflection of how quality films in this up and coming format can find their audience."
It is unclear how this success will affect the chances of a sequel to the 2012 film, which have been downplayed since its poor performance at the US box office.
There has been talk of both a Dredd film trilogy and television series, but the sale of props from the movie is considered a sign that a follow-up is very unlikely.
