Saltzman is the daughter of Harry Saltzman, who produced the first 9 007 movies with Cubby Broccoli, and appears in Bond documentary Everything or Nothing.
Recent rumours have claimed that Oscar bosses are attempting to get Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig to appear together for the ceremony's 50th anniversary Bond celebration.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Saltzman suggested that securing Connery could be "the hinging point" for the endeavour.
"I hope [the Academy gets them all together] because time's kind of running out a little bit here," she said. "Time is moving on and this is the perfect opportunity for this to happen and I hope the Academy has reached [Sean Connery].
"Maybe the others haven't been contacted yet because Sean is the hinging point. They could think if they don't get Sean, then what's the point? I really don't know, but I have high hopes that they will all appear on stage.
"Regardless of all their personal feelings of what happened business-wise while they were there, Bond powered all of them into their careers and gave them all an extraordinary opportunity to do wonderful things in their lives."
Saltzman added that neither she nor On Her Majesty's Secret Service star George Lazenby, who she is in regular contact with, have been asked to attend the Oscars.
"I would love to go, I would be delighted to attend if they invited me. They haven't at this point," she said.
"There's a lot of rumours going around, I don't know how real any of that is. I actually spoke to George Lazenby recently and he hasn't heard directly from the Academy either.
"I'm just absolutely thrilled that Bond will be honoured in some fashion at the Oscars."
"I first saw Daniel Craig in Layer Cake and Munich. I just saw him as an extraordinary actor. He had an incredible screen presence in those films. Even though he was surrounded by other great actors, he just popped off the screen," she commented.
"There was something really magnetic about Daniel on screen and when Barbara and Michael chose him to be the new Bond, I thought it was a brilliant pick. He's a great actor, and in the modern time it's become acceptable for men to show some emotion, even if you are James Bond. I think Daniel does that extraordinarily well."
Asked if she had a favourite Bond movie, Saltzman replied: "I don't really have a specific favourite. One I'm really fond of is From Russia with Love because my mother and grandmother are in a scene.
"Each Bond film really does bring something to the table. I'm very fond specifically of the ones my father did because I was on set and a part of those growing up.
"I think Barbara, Michael and Cubby have done an extraordinary job with the remaining movies. I think they're all remarkable. Maybe I haven't seen my favourite Bond yet?"
Everything or Nothing is released on DVD on January 28. Skyfall will debut on Blu-ray and DVD on February 18 from MGM Studios and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
