'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' tops Australian box office

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters has replaced Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained at the top of the Australian box office chart.

Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner's new movie took over AU$2 million in its opening week to enter the standings in prime position.

Tarantino's movie slips to third place, but still grossed just under AU$1.4 million during its third full weekend in Australian cinemas.

Two further new entries feature in the top ten - Steven Spielberg's Academy Award-nominated historical biopic Lincoln, which debuts in fourth place, and ensemble comedy Movie 43, entering at number seven.

The box office chart for the weekend of February 7 to 10 (all figures are in Australian dollars):
