Paul Rudd and Judd Apatow have spoken to Digital Spy about the upcoming sequel to Anchorman, which begins shooting next month.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues will see Will Ferrell, Rudd and Steve Carell reprise their roles from the original cult comedy, and Rudd revealed that he found out the sequel was going ahead via Ferrell's public confirmation on Conan.
"When it was announced, we didn't even really know [beforehand]," Rudd told DS. "Will Ferrell was on a talk show as Ron Burgundy - I just remember the day before I got the message, 'You gotta watch Conan tomorrow night', and that was how I found out!"
Rudd goes on to discuss how it felt getting back into character after almost a decade, while Apatow spoke about his producing duties on the sequel.
