Emily Browning rumoured for Paul WS Anderson's 'Pompeii'

Emily Browning is rumoured to be in talks for Paul WS Anderson's Pompeii.

The Sucker Punch actress is being linked with the lead female role in the movie, and will star alongside Kit Harington should she sign up, WorstPreviews reports.



Pompeii follows the slave of a shipping tycoon who embarks on a mission to save the woman he loves when Vesuvius erupts in 79 AD.

The Constantin Film project's script was written by Lee Batchler and Janet Scott Batchler, with revisions by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey).

Anderson will produce the project alongside Jeremy Bolt, Robert Kulzer and Martin Moszkowicz.

Pompeii is yet to be assigned a release date.
