Gere, Emma Stone, Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry were among the all-star cast for the anthology film, which has been called "the Citizen Kane of awful" by critic Richard Roeper.

In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Gere admitted that he had reservations appearing in one of Movie 43's shorts.
"The guy who put it together was the godfather of my step-daughter – a close friend of my wife… Basically they talked me into it," Gere explained.
The Golden Globe-winning actor was also quizzed on if he plans to eventually watch Movie 43.
"I don't wanna waste my time," he quipped.

Movie 43's directors for its comedy shorts include several high-profile comedy figures, including Peter Farrelly, Bob Odenkirk, Elizabeth Banks and James Gunn.
The film is currently playing in US and UK cinemas.
