'Shrek The Third' ready to flop?

The last film in the series holds the record for the highest grossing animated film ever, and experts predicted that the next instalment would take even more.
However, initial preview reviews have left the film looking slightly disheveled, and many critics believe the movie will not do as well as initially hoped.
"The rude send-up of beloved fairytale conventions remains - somewhat - but these playful jabs no longer come as a pleasuring surprise. You expect them. And you expect better," said the Hollywood Reporter.
The Scotland On Sunday went a step further, and actually predicted a failure, commenting that the film had the potential to be "a turkey rather than a blockbuster".
