Elijah Wood to play Iggy Pop in new film

Elijah Wood will play the lead role in a biopic about Iggy Pop.
The movie will document the life and career of the musician, and will start filming in six months' time. The film will pay particular attention to the early stages of his band The Stooges, who reformed last year.
The film, to be called The Passenger, has been personally approved by Iggy.
