'The Long Good Friday' to be remade

Classic British gangster movie The Long Good Friday is to be remade in Miami.
The £25 million remake, which will be set in the US, will go into production early next year.
The original 1980 film was set in eighties London. It starred Bob Hoskins and Dame Helen Mirren.
The remake will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who made his name helming horror movies such as Alien vs. Predator and Resident Evil.
It is not yet known who will star in the film, which tells the story of a gangster whose property is blown up by an unknown rival.
