'Iron Man 3': Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark seeks revenge in first clip

By
The first clip from Marvel's Iron Man 3 has debuted online.

The Shane Black production sees Robert Downey Jr reprise his role as Tony Stark alongside Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts.

In the third instalment of the superhero series, Stark vows to get vengeance on villain the Mandarin (Sir Ben Kingsley) after he launches an attack on one of Stark's closest friends.

The clip - a snippet of which briefly featured in a prior trailer for the film - shows Stark confronting the press and delivering a message to the Mandarin.

"My name is Tony Stark and I'm not afraid of you," he begins. "I know you're a coward so I've decided that you just died, pal. I'm going to come and get the body."

Stark then tells the Madarin that he's not looking to involve anyone else in their feud and just wants "good, old-fashioned revenge".

"On the off-chance that you're a man, here's my home address - 10880 Malibu Point, 90265," he continues, adding with typical Stark arrogance. "I'll leave the door unlocked."

Iron Man 3 also stars Rebecca Hall and Guy Pearce, who play Stark's ex Maya Hansen and mysterious bad guy Aldrich Killian respectively.
