'Star Trek Into Darkness': Scotty, Chekov character posters

By
Two new character posters for Star Trek Into Darkness have been released.

Anton Yelchin's Chekov and Simon Pegg's Scotty are highlighted in the new images, which were released by The Huffington Post.

It was confirmed yesterday that JJ Abrams's sequel will run for 132 minutes, making it the joint longest film in the series alongside 1979's Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Written by Damon Lindelof, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, Into Darkness will see Kirk and his crew returning to Earth to fight "a one-man weapon of mass destruction" in Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison.

Lindelof has explained that the film is about the Enterprise crew "becoming a family".
