Edgar Wright: 'Ant-Man script is complete' - video

By
Edgar Wright has offered an update on Ant-Man.

The World's End director confirmed to Digital Spy that he and Joe Cornish have now completed work on their script for the Marvel adaptation, which "required some tweaking" in order to fit into the contemporary Marvel universe.

Marvel Studios allowed Wright to delay production on Ant-Man in order to complete The World's End, which is the third and final chapter in his Cornetto Trilogy.

The Phase Three film is set to be released on November 6, 2015, and will be the follow-up to Joss Whedon's The Avengers 2 which premieres in May of the same year.

Armie Hammer and Nathan Fillion have both recently quashed rumours that they are in line for roles in Ant-Man.
