Boardwalk Empire's Vincent Piazza and Broadway actors John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen and Michael Lomenda are currently up for consideration for Jersey Boys, Variety reports.

The four have yet to be officially offered roles, with Warner Bros currently in discussions with Eastwood and producer Graham King over their casting.

Jersey Boys is based on the story of the 1960s American pop group Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.

If the four sign on, Young is slated to portray Valli, with Bergen in the role of Bob Gaudio, Piazza as Tommy DeVito and Lomenda set to play Nick Massi.

The script for the film was penned by Skyfall screenwriter John Logan.

Eastwood, King and Robert Lorenz are slated to produce alongside Valli and Gaudio.
