Bill Murray in talks to join Bradley Cooper in new Cameron Crowe film

Bill Murray is in talks to join director Cameron Crowe's next film, according to a new report.

Crowe - who is best known for films including Almost Famous and Say Anything - is already working on the untitled film in Hawaii.

The movie will follow Bradley Cooper as a military contractor on a secret mission in Hawaii, who teams up with an Air Force pilot (Emma Stone).

There is no word yet on Murray's role, though negotiations are apparently in final stages, according to The Wrap.

Rachel McAdams, Danny McBride, Jay Baruchel, and Alec Baldwin have also signed on to the star in the upcoming film as well.

The untitled Cameron Crowe project is slated for release in 2014.
