The sequel - which is set four decades after the plot of the 2012 Daniel Radcliffe film - stars Phoebe Fox, Jeremy Irvine, Helen McCrory and Oaklee Pendergast.
The film will be directed by Tom Harper and will shoot at Pinewood Studios, as well as various locations throughout England.
The screenplay for the new film is based on an original story outline by author Susan Hill.
Harper said: "There's such a fantastic history of British horror films and it's great to be continuing the story of Susan Hill's vengeful cult character.
"Jon Croker's script is haunting and powerful and I'm delighted to be working with such a great cast and crew to bring it to life."
The Woman in Black became the UK's most successful horror film of all time when it was released in January 2012.
The Woman in Black: Angel of Death is due to be released on Friday, February 13, 2015.
