Bruce Willis's stunt double survived a three-storey fall during filming of the new Die Hard movie.
Larry Rippenkroeger, who has stepped in for Willis in previous films including The Whole Ten Yards, Hostage and Sin City, fell during a ladder scene and has no memory of the incident.
"I fell from three storeys high, head first right to the street," Larry told the Los Angeles Times newspaper.
"I had compound fractures of both wrists, smashed the right side of my face, fractured my skull on the back of my head, couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung. I have lots of titanium in my face and within my wrists and plates and hardware. Bruce referred to me as the '$6 million man.'"
