Raimi considers helming 'Spider-Man 4'
Director Sam Raimi has revealed that he could be persuaded to make a fourth Spider-Man movie.

The 47-year-old filmmaker helmed 2002's Spider-Man, 2004's Spider-Man 2 and 2007's Spider-Man 3, but has yet to sign up for the fourth instalment in the movie franchise.

He told MTV: "If I can't find the right story that would work for me and that I could tell really well, I would like someone else to tell that story, but if it's a great story and Sony will bring me back to the screen, I would love to."

Raimi also revealed which baddies he would like to see in the fourth film, saying: "I would love to see Electro, Vulture and maybe the Sinister Six as a team. The Lizard is probably one of my favourite characters too. But the film will probably have to start with the central journey of the main character to arrive at the proper villain."

Last month it was announced that three further Spider-Man films are being planned.
