Iggy Pop has confirmed that he would like Elijah Wood to play him in a planned biopic about the former Stooges singer.
The 60-year-old explained that he was impressed by Elijah's performances in Lord of the Rings - but warned that the movie project may not even go ahead.
"We have no agreement yet to even do the film. The producers have got big mouths and keep jumping the gun," Iggy told XFM.
"I think Elijah's a very good actor though. If he can play a hobbit then he should be able to play me."
Elijah was rumoured to be taking on the role last month.
