The music mogul has an obsession with the Bond stories and has even decided to move the next series of X Factor to Pinewood Studios, where the films are made.
A source told the Daily Star: "He really fancies ruling the world as an evil baddie in a 007 movie. He's always been a big fan of James Bond films. Simon would be perfect for the part of a crazed villain - he wouldn't even have to act that much. Just imagine Simon stroking a big white Persian cat and saying: 'Ah, Mr Bond - I was expecting you.'
"As part of his obsession Simon is keen to film the live part of the next series of the X Factor at Pinewood."
