The big screen version of Sex And The City will reportedly begin shooting in the autumn.

Michael Patrick King, the show's executive producer, is said to be preparing to direct a script that he wrote.

According to Variety, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have all agreed to reprise their roles from the popular TV series.

Sex And The City ran for six seasons before it ended in 2004, amidst rumours of behind-the-scenes rivalry between Cattrall and Parker.
